In a statement shared on social media, Ossai congratulated the newlyweds but expressed concerns about the speed of their relationship, stressing that marriages involving fame, wealth and social media influence require careful planning.
According to him, a prenuptial agreement is not a sign of distrust but a practical step to safeguard both parties' assets and avoid future disputes.
"Marriage is sweet, but marriage + money + fame + internet? That one needs wisdom," he wrote.
He explained that public figures often face intense scrutiny over their finances, properties, brand deals and luxury possessions, adding that a prenup clearly defines ownership before outside interference or social media controversies arise.
"A prenup makes it clear what belongs to who, so business doesn't kill love. Signing a prenup doesn't mean you're planning divorce. It means you're planning the marriage like adults," he stated.
Ossai said he was disappointed by how quickly the couple tied the knot, noting that many modern relationships collapse shortly after receiving widespread public attention.
"Because I don't trust how fast this marriage happened and how much pressure is already on them. In this generation, people rush in, post love, collect gifts, then six months later we're seeing breakup TikToks," he wrote.
Despite his reservations, the governor's aide wished the couple a successful marriage, expressing hope that their union would be built on both love and sound judgment.
"Love is good. But love + clarity is better. Love + agreement is what lasts. Congrats to Javis and Peller. I pray their home stands. But I also pray it was built with sense, not just vibes."
