Jennifer Lawrence confirms breast lift after second childbirth

American actress Jennifer Lawrence has confirmed that she underwent a breast lift after welcoming her second child, opening up about the changes her body experienced following pregnancy and her decision to undergo the cosmetic procedure.

In an interview with The Cut, the Oscar-winning actress discussed how motherhood has influenced her approach to beauty and appearance, including her desire to look put-together while taking her children to school.

Lawrence had previously spoken about the physical changes she experienced after her pregnancies during a 2025 interview with The New Yorker. Reflecting on her body after the birth of her second child, she said: “Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one. Second one, nothing bounced back.”

At the time, she was discussing an unclad scene in her 2023 comedy film No Hard Feelings and the prospect of filming another similar scene the following year after giving birth to her second child.

Asked whether she would have considered a breast lift if she were not famous, Lawrence acknowledged that her career influenced how quickly she wanted to arrange the procedure, although she believed she would still have wanted it.

“Maybe I wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way,” she said, adding, “But I think yes.”

The actress also spoke about cosmetic treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers, explaining that she avoids fillers because she feels their effects can be noticeable on camera.

When asked whether she had undergone a facelift, Lawrence jokingly replied: “No, but, believe me, I’m gonna!”

She also discussed the pressures of balancing motherhood with her desire to look presentable in public, saying she wants to be a “sexy mom” who appears organised during school drop-offs, even on mornings when she has only just woken up and does not feel that way.
