Argentina stars hire private security to protect UK homes after world cup win over England

Argentina internationals Lisandro Martinez and Alexis Mac Allister reportedly hired private security firms to guard their homes in the United Kingdom following Argentina's dramatic victory over England at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to The Sun, the Manchester United defender and Liverpool midfielder arranged for security personnel to patrol their properties for two days as emotions ran high after the heated World Cup semi-final.

Despite concerns over possible retaliation, the report stated that there were no attempts to vandalize either player's home during the period.

Argentina booked their place in the World Cup final after coming from behind to defeat England 2-1 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Anthony Gordon gave England the lead before Enzo Fernandez and Lautaro Martinez scored to complete Argentina's comeback and send the reigning champions into the final.
