Singer and actress Chloe Bailey has opened up about the subtle clue that made her suspect an ex-boyfriend had been unfaithful, revealing that an eyelash extension and a hair tie left in his bathroom exposed the alleged cheating.
Rather than confronting him immediately, she said she quietly took a photo and sent it to her godmother for advice.
“I kept it internal and I took a picture of it,” Bailey said. “And I texted my godmom and she’s like my voice of reason. Halle, she’ll have me crash out.”
The singer admitted she had no idea who the other woman was but decided to keep the discovery to herself until the following day.
“I walked in the bathroom like it was brand new, like I just saw it, ’cause I still wanted my night of cuddles. I’m that toxic,” she said with a laugh.
According to Bailey, when she eventually confronted her ex, he denied being unfaithful. Despite his denial, she chose to move on from the relationship.
She also shared that her own form of revenge was briefly replying to messages from men she would normally ignore before cutting off communication completely.
“Once I’m out of it, I just won’t text them back,” she said.
Bailey noted that this was not the first time she had experienced infidelity. During a 2023 interview on The Zach Sang Show, she revealed that she had been cheated on several times and made it clear she has zero tolerance for dishonesty in relationships.
“You cheat on me? I’m out. And they don’t believe me until their number is blocked,” she said.
