Diddy's prison release date moved up again after alleged jail fight

Diddy's prison release date moved up again after alleged jail fight

Disgraced music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is now set to be released from prison earlier than expected after his release date was adjusted for the third time.

According to records from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the 56-year-old is now eligible for release on January 24, 2028.

Responding to the latest change, a spokesperson for Diddy said:

"At this point, we do not have the necessary information to respond with any clarity."

Diddy is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.

His original release date was June 4, 2028, but it has been revised several times. It was first moved to April 25, 2028, before being changed again to February 23, 2028. The latest adjustment now sets his release for January 24, 2028.

The new release date comes days after reports claimed the rapper was involved in a physical altercation with another inmate inside the prison.

According to multiple reports, prison staff intervened to break up the alleged fight, after which Diddy was reportedly placed in solitary confinement.

Authorities have not publicly commented on the reported incident, while Diddy's representatives say they have no clear information regarding the repeated changes to his release date.
