Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has shared another emotional message amid the ongoing crisis in her marriage to her younger husband, Bobby Maris, saying she is tired of the union after eight years together.
"For person to tire for marriage now na taboo because na woman! Must it always be man must taya? My tayad is tayad! I am tayad of the Princess wey dey marry me. What is wrong with that?" she wrote.
Uche also suggested that she should not be condemned for wanting happiness, insisting that she should be allowed to walk away if she is no longer fulfilled.
"To be happy as a woman in marriage na by connection in this country! I no do again nah sin? Make nobody push me to the wall because I be rubber ooo! Eight years of my life isn't enough yet? Maybe I should give it 20 years or maybe six feet under before the crown of thorns can fit me well!" she added.
Her latest post comes days after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling speculation that their marriage has hit the rocks.
The actress had also shared several cryptic posts about surviving a narcissist, while Bobby Maris previously wrote that "the crown of wife is not fit for every woman's head," further intensifying rumors of a marital breakdown.
The drama has continued to generate reactions online, with some social media users encouraging the actress to prioritize her happiness if the marriage is no longer healthy, while others urged the couple to resolve their differences privately for the sake of their family.
