Ivana accuses ex-boyfriend Tunmise of abuse, Tunmise fires back with counterclaims

Popular TikTok influencer Ivana has shared a series of emotional posts accusing her ex-boyfriend, fellow TikToker Tunmise, of alleged domestic violence, physical assault, verbal abuse and repeated infidelity during their relationship, while Tunmise has denied the allegations and released his own account of what led to their breakup.

In multiple screenshots posted online, Ivana alleged that Tunmise physically assaulted her on several occasions, claiming she suffered seizures after one incident, was pushed down the stairs, repeatedly insulted, and emotionally manipulated throughout the relationship.

She also shared photos of alleged injuries, screenshots of conversations, and messages in which she claimed Tunmise apologised after some of their disputes.

Ivana admitted she cheated during the relationship but insisted it happened after enduring what she described as repeated abuse, infidelity and emotional trauma. She also alleged that Tunmise negatively affected her career opportunities and left her emotionally broken.

Responding to the accusations, Tunmise denied physically abusing Ivana and claimed he made numerous sacrifices to keep the relationship alive.

According to him, he financially supported Ivana and several members of her family, paid ₦150,000 per day for about three weeks at a hotel where they attempted to fix their relationship, regularly took her shopping, and covered other expenses.

He further alleged that Ivana travelled to Calabar to reunite with her ex-boyfriend despite portraying the man negatively to him.

"Ivana went to see her ex in Calabar, the same ex she painted the worst to me. I was trying to do better than her ex. Someone I was trying to do better than, that was the person you went back to," he claimed.

Tunmise also admitted calling Ivana offensive names during heated arguments but said it happened out of frustration over recurring health issues they were both treating.

"We treat infection, treat infection, infection no gree go. Out of pain I called her a prostitute," he said.

He also alleged that Ivana assaulted him on several occasions and shared screenshots he claimed showed her apologising and asking for reconciliation after their disagreements.

The public exchange has continued to generate widespread reactions online, with both influencers presenting conflicting accounts of their failed relationship.
