British pop singer Lauren Bennett, best known for providing vocals on LMFAO's 2011 global hit Party Rock Anthem, has died at the age of 36.
Expressing its grief, the band wrote:
"Our hearts are broken, and we can't begin to express how much she meant to us. We will forever cherish the love, laughter and countless memories she gave us.
"Rest peacefully, sweet Lauren. You will always be in our hearts."
The cause of Lauren Bennett's death was not disclosed.
The singer rose to international fame after featuring on Party Rock Anthem, one of the biggest songs of 2011, before going on to become a member of G.R.L.
Tributes have continued to pour in from fans and fellow musicians, who are remembering her for her talent, vibrant personality and contributions to pop music.
