Media personality Daddy Freeze has sparked debate after questioning the value of paying millions of naira in school fees while using popular content creator Peller as an example of success outside the traditional education system.
Speaking in a video, Daddy Freeze revealed that he was shocked after receiving his son's secondary school fees bill, which he said amounted to ₦7 million.
Expressing disbelief, he asked, "They gave me my son's secondary school fees, and it's ₦7 million. What exactly are they teaching in that school?"
He then referenced Peller, who rose to fame without completing formal education, saying, "Meanwhile, look at Peller. He didn't go to school, yet he still made his parents proud."
In a humorous remark directed at his son, Daddy Freeze added, "Don't you want to be like Peller? Do you really need to go to school?"
His comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, with some agreeing that practical skills and talent can lead to success, while others argued that education remains important and that Peller's story is an exception rather than the rule.
