Praise good men too, not just criticise the bad ones — Wanneka tells fan

Businesswoman Wanneka has responded to a fan who cautioned her against publicly praising her husband, saying she has no problem celebrating him despite fears it could “get into his head.”

The exchange began after a fan commented that she should take it easy with the compliments before her husband became overly confident.

Replying the fan, Wanneka said appreciating a good partner should never be discouraged. According to her, if people are quick to criticize men for their wrongdoings, they should be just as willing to publicly acknowledge those who are doing the right things.

“I want it to enter his head. That’s how we lose good men. If we can call out the bad ones every chance we get, we should also praise the good ones every chance we get,” she wrote.
