The marriage crisis rumours surrounding Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo and her husband, Bobby Maris, have taken a new twist after the actress' close friend, Sochima, publicly criticised him on social media.
In a post shared on her Instagram Story, Sochima described Uche's husband as a "lazy man," alleging that he contributes nothing to the growth of the family.
She claimed that he neither provides financially nor offers emotional, physical, or parental support to his wife and children.
According to her, money is not everything in a marriage, stressing that emotional support and active involvement in family life are equally important.
Sochima also accused him of portraying himself differently on social media while allegedly behaving otherwise behind closed doors.
She further alleged that whenever Uche reacts to issues in the marriage, her husband resorts to recording videos instead of resolving their differences privately.
The post has since gone viral, sparking mixed reactions from social media users. While some defended Uche's friend for speaking out, others argued that marital issues should be resolved privately and questioned the wisdom of third parties getting involved.
Neither Uche Ogbodo nor her husband has publicly addressed the latest allegations.
