After winning second term, Gov. Adeleke thanks president Tinubu, endorses him for 2027

Re-elected Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his support during the state’s governorship election and reaffirmed his endorsement of the President for a second term in 2027.

Adeleke made the remarks while addressing supporters after he was declared the winner of the election, where he also pledged to continue his administration’s development agenda.

“At this point, I must deeply appreciate Mr. President, His Excellency Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his strong support for a free and fair election,” Adeleke said.

The governor also described Tinubu as a son of Osun State while restating his support for the President’s 2027 re-election bid.

“Mr. President is a son of Osun State, and I hereby reaffirm my earlier endorsement of him for a second term in the 2027 presidential election,” he declared.

Adeleke had previously endorsed Tinubu despite belonging to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The governor said his administration would now focus on building on its achievements and pursuing further development under his renewed five-point agenda as he begins another four-year term.
