‘APC governors may bully, oppress and manipulate Osun election’ — VeryDarkMan raises alarm

Activist VeryDarkMan has raised concerns over the ongoing Osun State governorship election, questioning the presence of some All Progressives Congress (APC) governors in the state as voting continues across the state.

The activist made the remarks while reacting to the conduct of the election and the political tension surrounding the contest between incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke and other candidates.

Adeleke has already cast his vote as voters across Osun head to polling units to elect the governor who will lead the state for the next four years.

VeryDarkMan alleged that the presence of APC governors in Osun under the guise of observing the election could be an attempt to influence the process.

“If anything happens to the president today, a lot of APC members will suffer, because tell me why you have APC governors going to observe Osun election if not to go and bully, oppress and manipulate the election results,” he said.

He further expressed concern over what he described as previous irregularities surrounding the election, suggesting that the outcome could have implications for Adeleke and his camp.

“It’s very clear and obvious what might be the outcome of the Adelekes considering the illegality that have happened before now,” he added.

Meanwhile, voting is underway across the 30 local government areas of Osun State, with reports emerging from different polling units as voters cast their ballots.
