According to Fireboy, Sheeran made the request because his wife was still upset about what happened in a previous music video where he interacted with models.
Fireboy said Sheeran told him, “Please tell these girls not to touch me, you know, because my wife is going to be mad.”
“She has not forgiven me for the last one I did, though,” he added while recalling the experience.
The singer described Sheeran as “such an amazing person” and said the video shoot was fun and enjoyable despite the unusual condition.
Fireboy also revealed that when he was asked if “Peru” had any deeper meaning beyond the name of the country, he simply replied, “Peru is just vibes, bro. It’s vibes.”
