‘I’ll collect every kobo first’ – Morayo Brown’s husband weighs In on P-Square feud

TV host Morayo Brown’s husband, Femi Afolabi Brown, has weighed in on the ongoing dispute between P-Square brothers Peter and Jude Okoye, saying he would recover every kobo owed to him before considering forgiveness.

Femi made his position known during an episode of the Brown Couch series, where he was asked by his wife, Morayo, how he would approach the controversy from a Christian perspective, particularly the issue of forgiveness.

Responding, Femi said forgiveness should not prevent a person from seeking what rightfully belongs to them.

“In my own Christian mind, I will collect all my money back first. I will collect my money back. And I will forgive, and I will forget. I can forgive and forget, but I will continue to pursue my money.

“That money is his future. That’s the future of his children. That’s the school fees of his children, the comfort of his children. Will he now let it go? That’s his sweat. That’s what he worked for. His earnings, legitimately his, to take care of him, his wife and his children, his children’s children,” he said.

When Morayo asked why he would not simply forgive and let the money go, Femi stressed that the amount involved was too significant to overlook.

“Money that is over $2 million, based on the little calculation I have done by the available information? I can’t let $2 million go o. No. I can’t. I will take it. Whatever I can take. Sell everything you have. Bring all the money in your account. Whatever you can pay out of that $2 million, but I will make sure,” he said.

Femi further cited the Bible in arguing that recovering allegedly stolen money was not inconsistent with Christian values.

“Because the Bible says that if a thief steals and is caught, he will replenish. He will pay back in sevenfold. Even the Bible says thieves must pay back. Thieves must pay back. So they are meant to pay back. Asking them to pay back is Christian. Do you understand? That’s what the Bible says. Pay back,” he added.

Femi also revealed that if he were in Peter’s position, he would not be interested in maintaining a relationship with Jude after such a dispute.

Asked what he would say if he encountered Jude, he replied: “I can’t. I won’t. I can never have a conversation with Jude. God forbid. If I see somebody like that coming, I go another way. God forbid that we interact or interface. Never. How?”
