The Lagos State Police Command has declared two men wanted over the alleged murder of a woman and the subsequent removal of her body to an unknown location in the Ikoyi area of Lagos.
The suspects were identified as 32-year-old Folawiyo Alagbado and 33-year-old Ajibola Obateru, both of whom have their last known addresses in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The command announced the development in separate wanted-person bulletins shared on its X handle on Wednesday.
According to the police, the suspects allegedly conspired with others to attack the victim, kill her and dispose of her body at an unknown location.
The victim’s personal belongings were also reportedly stolen by the suspects and their accomplices after the incident.
The police said the crime was committed in the Ikoyi area of Lagos and urged members of the public with useful information to assist investigators in locating the suspects.
Alagbado was described by the police as a 32-year-old Yoruba man of average height, with an oval face, wide nose, long-wide mouth, medium lips, white eyes and dark complexion. He also has a round chin, normal hair and smooth forehead and was said to dress decently.
Obateru, meanwhile, was described as a 33-year-old Yoruba man, approximately 5.9ft tall with a thin build, oval face, long nose, small mouth, thin lips, black eyes and fair complexion. He reportedly has a pointed chin, thick black hair and a high forehead and was described as appearing gentle and dressing decently.
The police urged anyone with information about the whereabouts of either suspect to report to the nearest police station or the Office of the Commissioner of Police at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Musiliu Smith Street, Panti, Yaba, Lagos.
Members of the public who encounter the suspects were advised not to confront or apprehend them themselves, but to immediately alert the police.
