Speaking on The Raw Life Review Show, the rapper said the situation can become particularly stressful when a marriage breaks down, with former couples often getting caught up in repeated disagreements, especially over child support.
Joking about the difficulties that can follow separation, 50 Cent recalled the frustration behind the question, “What more do you want from me?”
“I have been in child support cases calling multiple times,” he said, reflecting on the disputes that can arise between former partners after a relationship ends.
The rapper also questioned what becomes of the friendship between two people who once considered each other significant enough to build a life and raise a family together.
According to him, marriage is essentially a contract that begins with certain terms but may require constant renegotiation when things go wrong.
“The person you thought was significant enough to make you significant to other, that’s the only purpose of marriage. Outside of that is a bad contract,” he said.
