Mbappe, Tchouameni, Konate, Cucurella return to Real Madrid training

Four Real Madrid players have returned to training with the first-team squad as the club intensifies preparations for the new season.

According to Marca, Kylian Mbappe, Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konate and Aurélien Tchouameni resumed training on Monday after undergoing medical examinations earlier in the day.

The players subsequently joined the squad under manager Jose Mourinho, bringing the number of first-team players available for pre-season preparations closer to full strength.

Mbappe, along with fellow new arrivals Cucurella and Konate, reportedly cut his holiday short by two days to return to the club.

The France captain was heavily involved during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, playing almost every minute of the tournament. Konate and Tchouameni also represented France, while Cucurella was part of the Spain squad that lifted the World Cup trophy.

Their return is expected to provide Mourinho with more options as Real Madrid continue preparations ahead of the new campaign.
