In a viral video circulating on social media, the woman argued that while serving military personnel are prohibited from participating in partisan politics, their wives are civilians with the constitutional right to vote and would use their ballots to express their dissatisfaction.
"We are coming out in full force in 2027. Military wives we no dey vote Tinubu and nothing go happen," she said.
She also questioned claims that the Federal Government had increased the salaries of military personnel, insisting that military families had not benefited from the reported adjustment.
"You no increase soldier salary. Even as your spokesman, Retired Musa, dey talk say you don increase am from 49 to 100, even as little as the 100 we no see am," she alleged.
According to her, the government's promises regarding improved welfare have not translated into tangible benefits for military families.
"We are not voting you baba, nothing you go do," she added.
The video has since generated mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians sympathising with the concerns raised about the welfare of security personnel, while others questioned the accuracy of her claims regarding soldiers' salaries and government policies.
