The defending champions will take on the Indomitable Lionesses at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca on Sunday, with a place in the semi-finals and a ticket to the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup at stake.
Nigeria overcame a slow start to the tournament to secure a spot in the knockout stage, finishing second in Group C.
Cameroon, meanwhile, topped Group D and remain unbeaten in the competition, setting up what promises to be a highly competitive encounter.
Babajide said the Super Falcons are fully aware of Cameroon’s strengths and are determined to secure victory.
“We are very excited to play Cameroon. We have played against them a couple of times before, we know their strengths, we are prepared, and ready to face them,” Babajide told the Super Falcons Show.
The forward stressed that qualifying for the World Cup remains one of Nigeria’s major objectives at the tournament.
“We know why we are here, we need to get the ticket to the World Cup, we are focused, and we are ready,” she added.
