According to Peller, he arrived home exhausted and was preparing to sleep when he suddenly heard his wife screaming that she was tired and wanted to take her own life while allegedly holding a knife.
Peller said he pleaded with her to move to the parlour, where there was a CCTV camera, if she was determined to hurt herself.
However, he claimed that a few minutes later, she returned to the bedroom, woke him up and told him that she only wanted to cuddle.
