According to a statement from the Osoba and Awonuga families, the decision was taken to allow for further arrangements and consultations before a new burial date is fixed.
The family said the new date and venue for the funeral would be officially announced once the necessary matters have been resolved.
It also appealed to the actress’ friends, colleagues, fans and well-wishers for understanding, patience and continued prayers during the difficult period.
The families expressed appreciation to everyone who attended the Candlelight and Artists’ Night in honour of Osoba, as well as those who have continued to support them since her death.
They added that further updates on the burial arrangements would be communicated through the family’s official channels.
