Ballon d’Or 2026: France Football releases first nominees for club awards

France Football, organisers of the prestigious Ballon d’Or awards, have officially released the first batch of nominees for the 2026 edition.

The lists were published on the organisation’s website on Tuesday, with nominees for the Women’s Club of the Year and Men’s Club of the Year categories announced.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembélé is the current holder of the Ballon d’Or, having beaten Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal to the prize at last year’s ceremony.

The 2026 Ballon d’Or awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in London, United Kingdom, on October 26.
