Khafi marked the milestone in an emotional message shared on her Instagram page on Friday, expressing gratitude to God for guiding their marriage and helping them grow together over the past six years.
Reflecting on their journey, the reality TV star said they have experienced different moments together, including love, disagreements, laughter and tears, while remaining committed to their marriage.
“We have loved, we have fought, we have laughed, we have cried and most of all we have tried! Through it all God has held us and I am so incredibly grateful.”
Khafi admitted that she sometimes feels nervous discussing marriage publicly because of the scrutiny that comes with it, adding that she does not consider herself an expert despite being married for six years.
She, however, said marriage remains one of her favourite subjects and noted that it requires two people who are willing to humble themselves, grow, compromise and continue to love each other.
Khafi described Gedoni as a blessing and thanked him for his love, patience and role in guiding their family.
“Gedoni I am grateful for your life, grateful for your good good loving and grateful that we get to create and curate the beautiful family God has given us,” she added.
She prayed that their sixth year would become “year 6 of 100” and concluded her message by wishing her husband a happy anniversary and reaffirming her love for him.
Khafi and Gedoni met during the 2019 edition of Big Brother Naija, where they began a relationship while on the reality show. They later got married and have since built a family together.
