The development was confirmed on Friday evening by Amira Agiye, CEO of the Isaamira Love Foundation, who appealed to Nigerians to support Blessing CEO as she mourns her son and continues efforts to secure her release.
According to Agiye, Blessing CEO is currently unable to leave custody and requires financial assistance to meet her bail conditions and settle debts linked to the case against her.
“It is sad to announce to you all that Blessing CEO just lost her second son. My name is Amira Agiye. I’m here to appeal on behalf of Blessing CEO, who is currently in custody,” she said.
Agiye appealed to Nigerians to show compassion despite their differing opinions about the circumstances surrounding Blessing CEO’s legal case.
“She needs N20 million to meet the bail requirements. She also needs N36 million to pay the people she owes who brought the case against her.
“Please, Nigerians, let’s forgive her for the sake of that boy who is still in the mortuary. With Blessing’s full consent and authorisation, I’m appealing to all Nigerians to help donate so we can help her out of this situation,” she added.
In a voice conversation played by Agiye, Blessing CEO also confirmed the death of her son, describing Bryan as a lively child.
“My second son, Bryan, was full of life. While in custody, I lost Bryan. I pray this turns out positive so I can leave this place, pick up the pieces of my life and pay my respects to him,” she said.
Blessing CEO was remanded in custody in connection with an alleged N69.15 million property fraud case.
She was granted N20 million bail in July 2026, with two sureties in like sum, while each surety was required to provide three years’ proof of deposits valued at N20 million.
However, she has reportedly remained in custody after failing to meet the bail conditions.
