Music producer, Kwesi Ernest, who confirmed the sad news on social media couldn’t immediately confirm the cause of death of the music icon.
In a Facebook post, Ernest wrote:
“WE REGRET TO ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF OUR MOTHER MRS BERNICE OFFIE, SHE WENT TO HER MAKER THIS MORNING, A GOSPEL MUSIC LEGEND HAS FALLEN.”

Gospel legend Bernice Offei has reportedly passed away at the age of 63. She blessed generations with her powerful voice and timeless songs, including Hold On, Life Is Short, and Kaa She Gbeyei.
