‘Davido works like he doesn’t have money’ — Logos Olori reveals what drives Davido to keep working despite his wealth

Singer and Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) signee, Logos Olori, has revealed what he believes drives his record label boss, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, to remain dedicated to music despite his wealthy background.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Wahala Podcast, Olori said Davido works with the intensity of someone who does not have money, despite coming from a wealthy family.

“Davido works like he doesn’t have money. I feel like the competition drives him. He is very passionate. I don’t think he needs music money; he just does it for fun,” he said.

Olori said he believes competition with Davido’s peers in the music industry also contributes to the singer’s drive and passion.

The singer also revealed that Davido signed him to DMW after he wrote the hit song “Unavailable” for him.

Olori added that he was living comfortably in Dubai before deciding to relocate to Nigeria to pursue music as a full-time career.
