The cleric said his warning was not motivated by political, ethnic or personal interests but by what he described as a desire to protect Nigeria’s progress and ensure continuity in government.
“For the sake of Nigeria to be moving forward, for Nigerians’ parity, for Nigeria progress, Tinubu, do everything, everything! Don’t let America expose that document,” he said.
According to Ayodele, the publication of the documents could lead to major political and economic consequences, including possible action against the Tinubu administration.
“When they expose that document, anything can happen. Economy can be intercepted. America can end this government, because they can call for arrest,” he stated.
The cleric also alleged that there was a serious gang-up involving individuals within and outside the President’s political party, claiming that some people close to Tinubu could be working against him.
He urged the President to take the matter seriously, saying, “Do everything! I beg you, sir. Do everything! Don’t sleep.”
Ayodele further claimed that the documents could reveal sensitive information and “cost so many things,” urging Tinubu to take action before their alleged release.
