Lagos State lawmaker and actor, Hon. Desmond Elliot, has apologised to former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, over his actions during the last All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries.
Elliot expressed regret while appealing to Gbajabiamila for forgiveness and asking to be reintegrated into the APC political family in Lagos.
“I’m sorry. I have no excuse. I have nothing other than to say I am really sorry. It’s a big sorry, sir. And I’m hoping in the future, it cannot be done. It cannot be done, sir. There’s no notice there,” he said.
The lawmaker’s apology came as he sought to mend ties with Gbajabiamila following the disagreement surrounding the last APC primaries.
Elliot acknowledged his actions and pleaded for another opportunity, expressing hope that the incident would not be repeated in the future.
