Linda reacted to the debate in an Instagram post on Tuesday, sharing photos of the handbag and urging Nigerians to “relax” over the widely circulated price.
“Relax people… this is not a N250m bag… If it was, you think she would be traveling with it? I know how much these bags cost, because I have a few. Relax!” she wrote.
The bag, which has been identified by social media users as a Hermès Kelly 35 in Malachite, has sparked widespread discussion online, with some reports putting its listed price at about £131,938.
Linda’s comments come amid growing debate over the cost of the luxury accessory and reactions to Margaret Obi’s decision to carry it in public.
