Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee has broken his silence following his release from detention, insisting that he is innocent of the allegations against him.
Poco Lee made his position known during a video call with social media activist VeryDarkMan, where he maintained that he had done nothing wrong.
“As I didn’t do anything, my mind is pure. Burna Boy and Rahman Jago stand by me,” he said.
The dancer also disclosed that he spent about 10 hours in detention before being released. He thanked those who supported him during the situation and stood by him despite the allegations.
VeryDarkMan, who expressed his support for Poco Lee, said some people were unhappy about the entertainer’s release.
However, he maintained that Poco Lee should not be blamed if he did not commit the alleged offence.
Poco Lee further revealed that he was surprised to wake up to several messages from people questioning his involvement in the case.
Despite the development, he said he remained positive and appreciated those who stood by him.
