The ‘Calm Down’ hitmaker dismissed the speculation during an interview with Ebro Darden and Laura Stylez, describing reports of a feud between him and Davido as rumours.
The interviewer asked Rema about his current relationship with other Afrobeats artistes and specifically mentioned his alleged past problems with Davido.
“That’s rumours. Omo, that is rumours ooo. Like, from day one, I’ve never had problems with artistes. I’m saying I have so much respect for the OGs,” Rema said.
He explained that he has no interest in having conflicts with other artistes, stressing that his focus remains on making music.
“I don’t look for no one trouble. I just want to make good music, I don’t want to fight,” he added.
Rema’s comments come amid recurring speculation online about his relationship with Davido, with the singer now making it clear that he does not consider himself to be involved in any feud with the Afrobeats star.
