The Nigeria international announced the achievement in an Instagram post, describing it as another proud moment for him away from the football pitch.
“Another proud moment for me off the pitch. Graduating from the PFA Business School with a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Football Sport Directorship with Merit,” Awoniyi wrote.
The programme focuses on the role of the modern sporting director, covering areas such as football leadership, sporting departments and long-term club development.
Awoniyi, who continues to combine his football career with academic development, currently plays for Premier League club Coventry City.
