19-year-old woman remanded over alleged stabbing d+ath of 33-year-old boyfriend in Ghana

19-year-old woman, Emmanuella Asante, has been remanded into police custody in Ghana over the alleged st@bbing to d+ath of her 33-year-old boyfriend, Enoch Abrokwa, during a misunderstanding in Accra.

The Tesano Divisional Police Command is investigating the incident, which reportedly occurred at the deceased’s business premises at Ofankor Barrier.

According to the police, preliminary investigations indicate that a disagreement broke out between the couple on Friday, October 9, 2026, before the confrontation allegedly escalated.

Asante is accused of st@bbing Abrokwa in the chest with a piece of broken glass during the altercation.

The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he underwent surgery for a deep wound that affected his intestines. However, he d+ed on October 14 while receiving treatment.

Police said the suspect was arrested on October 10 after the complainant and three other people brought her to the police station.

She reportedly admitted to st@bbing Abrokwa and has remained in police custody as investigations continue.

Asante was subsequently arraigned before a court and remanded into police custody. She is expected to reappear in court on November 3, 2026.
