Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo tells men to stop chasing women who constantly demand money, gifts

Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo has advised men to stop pursuing women who constantly demand money, gifts and phones, urging them to choose partners who can support their growth and help build a future together.

Speaking on relationships and marriage, the pastor said some men complain that women are only interested in what they can gain from them without considering the kind of women they choose to pursue.

“You’re always looking for girls that are taking from you. You see the ones that can support you and help you, you don’t want that one,” he said.

Okonkwo also cautioned against generalising about men and women, dismissing claims that either gender is inherently bad in relationships.

“Don’t join all this gender war: men are sc¥m, women are sc¥m. It’s a lie. It’s the type you are chasing,” he added.

The pastor further challenged men who postpone marriage until they become wealthy, arguing that a supportive wife can help them achieve their goals and make progress faster.

“When you marry a good woman, she’s a multiplier for everything in your life. And that changed when I met and married my wife. Things that were moving slowly began to go fast,” he said.

Using a real estate business as an example, Okonkwo explained that couples could improve their chances of success by combining their professional networks, talents and skills.

He stressed that partners who work together can achieve more than they would individually, referencing the biblical principle that two are better than one and have a greater reward for their labour.
