Actress Adunni Ade announces burial arrangements for late mother

Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has announced the burial arrangements for her late mother, Emily Faye Adewale, who d+ed on Sunday, October 18, 2026, after a prolonged illness.

The actress, who announced her mother’s d+ath on Monday through her verified Instagram page, shared a funeral notice on Wednesday, stating that the burial would take place on Thursday, October 22, 2026.

According to the obituary poster, the service is scheduled for 12 noon at Advantage Funeral Home.

The poster, decorated with floral motifs and a portrait of the deceased, bears the inscription: “In Loving Memory – Emily Faye Adewale – Forever in our hearts.”

Adunni Ade, born Adunni Adewale in Queens, New York, to a Yoruba father and a German-Irish mother, had earlier paid tribute to her late mother, describing her passing as a submission to the will of Almighty Allah.

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him shall we return. With a heavy heart and submission to the will of Almighty Allah, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, who returned to her Creator after a long battle with illness,” she wrote.

The actress also prayed for Allah to forgive her mother’s shortcomings, have mercy on her and grant her Al-Jannah Firdaus.

She noted that her mother is survived by her children, grandchildren, sisters and other loved ones.
