His death was announced on Wednesday by Pelumi Olajengbesi, convener of the Coalition of Public Interests Lawyers and Advocates (COPA), who expressed sadness over the loss of young Nigerians.
Sharing the singer’s picture on Instagram, Olajengbesi lamented the increasing deaths of young people and called for God’s mercy.
“My God! What a life! No, Lord! We plead for Your mercy upon Toluwanisings.
“I am deeply troubled by the deaths of young men and women. This is not God’s plan for us,” he wrote.
Reacting to the development, comedian Woli Agba urged people not to give up hope, saying they were still praying for a miracle.
“Please hold on. Please don’t conclude. We are trusting God. Please,” he wrote.
Singer Boyebest also expressed faith in God while responding to Woli Agba’s post.
“Yes yes yes. Yeah I have faith in God. I do. God you’ll do this one,” he wrote.
The reactions followed reports of the singer’s death that surfaced on social media earlier on Wednesday.
As of the time of this report, the circumstances surrounding Toluwanisings’ death had not been disclosed.
This is sad! May God rest his soul.
