Woli Agba, who appeared to be close to the singer, expressed shock and sadness over the loss, describing Toluwanisings as a unique voice whose music touched many lives.
In the post, the comedian wrote, “Sunset at Midday. Ah! Toluwanisings! An angel just passed on.
“A VERY UNIQUE VOICE has dropped the microphone and walked off the stage just like that.”
He also prayed for God to comfort the singer’s family, friends, colleagues and fans as they mourn the painful loss.
“May the Almighty God comfort your family, friends, colleagues, fans, and everyone whose life you touched. May He grant us the strength to bear this painful loss, and may the beautiful memories you leave behind bring comfort in this season of sorrow,” he wrote.
Woli Agba concluded the tribute with the words, “Sing with the Angels, Bro.”
The cause and circumstances surrounding the singer’s passing were not disclosed in the tribute.
