The actress expressed her displeasure in an Instagram post on Friday, reminding people that death is inevitable and urging them not to rejoice over another person’s misfortune.
“We all are gonna bite the dust. Your jubilation over another's afflictions or death is diabolical,” she wrote.
Afolabi’s remarks come amid her ongoing battle with lupus, an incurable autoimmune disease in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s own tissues and can damage various organs.
In August, the mother of one revealed that she had undergone multiple surgeries in 2026 due to lupus flare-ups.
The actress had also disclosed in 2022 that her doctor told her she had five more years to live, a revelation that drew public attention to her health struggles.
