Phyna wins first female celebrity bout after knocking out Nkechi Blessing

Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has defeated Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing in the first female celebrity boxing bout organised under Balmoral’s ‘Chaos in the Ring’ event.

The bout took place on Thursday at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, where Phyna secured a fourth-round technical knockout to emerge victorious.

The organisers announced Phyna as the winner after the referee stopped the fight in the fourth round.

“After an incredible Independence Day celebration and chaos in the ring, we do have our winner for the first-ever female celebrity bout in the history of Chaos in the Ring,” the organiser announced.

It added, “A fourth-round technical knockout, your new champion is Phyna.”

The victory came after Phyna and Nkechi Blessing had been involved in a public clash before eventually agreeing to settle their differences in the boxing ring.

Phyna’s win makes her the first winner of a female celebrity bout in the history of Balmoral’s ‘Chaos in the Ring’ event.

The fight attracted attention from fans and entertainment followers, who had followed the build-up to the highly anticipated clash between the reality TV star and actress.
