A leaked audio recording allegedly featuring Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham in a conversation with a TikTok fan has sparked criticism on social media over remarks about fellow actresses Funke Akindele and Iyabo Ojo.
The 12-minute recording, reportedly shared by blogger Mama Esabod, is largely in Yoruba and Pidgin. In the conversation, the fan, identified as Bisgold, repeatedly makes negative remarks about Akindele, while Abraham is heard listening and laughing rather than cautioning her.
The conversation also touches on Ojo, with Bisgold reportedly suggesting that the actress has yet to move past an earlier incident. Abraham is heard laughing and agreeing during that part of the discussion.
The recording has drawn reactions from social media users, some of whom questioned Abraham’s boundaries with fans and criticised her alleged response to the comments about her colleagues.
One user, identified as WhoKnowsyezt, wrote: “Toyin no just get sense olohun. See how you’re comfortable with a FAN. Gosshhhh.”
Another user, Fifi Efretuei, said: “Not a fan of either of them but seems this lady can’t learn a simple lesson of setting boundaries. she talks too much.”
A third commenter, Prince Ademola Salami, also criticised Abraham, saying he preferred Akindele and accusing the actress of being two-faced.
Beyond the comments about Akindele and Ojo, the recording reportedly features Abraham discussing actors Itele and Kemity. She allegedly claimed that some supporters use fake social media accounts to attack others and described Kemity as someone she regards as a daughter.
The circumstances surrounding the recording and its authenticity have not been independently established.
