Screenshots of alleged WhatsApp conversations between content creator Odogwu Asaba and late Favour Agbro, the 20-year-old lady who died by suicide after accusing him of rape, have surfaced online.
According to the activist, Odogwu Asaba has been taken to the Delta State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Asaba, where he is expected to be paraded by the police.
Joe Israel alleged that the conversations showed Favour repeatedly asking for financial assistance to seek medical treatment after the alleged assault, while accusing Odogwu of intimidating and threatening her.
He further claimed he has more screenshots but would reserve them for court proceedings rather than release them publicly.
The activist also urged members of the public to stop blaming the deceased, insisting the evidence should be allowed to guide the investigation.
The police have not officially commented on the authenticity of the leaked conversations, and the allegations contained in the messages remain part of an ongoing investigation.
