An old video of Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz revealing that he registered all his assets in his mother's name has resurfaced online, days after news of his divorce from wife and fellow singer Zuchu.
Zuchu announced three days ago that she and Diamond Platnumz had separated and that their divorce process was already underway.
In the viral video, which was recorded during one of his mother's birthday celebrations, Diamond disclosed that his cars, houses and businesses were all registered in his mother's name.
The resurfaced footage has since fuelled debate online, with some social media users expressing concern over how the asset arrangement could affect the ongoing divorce proceedings.
