Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has opened up about his marriage to fellow actress Adebimpe Oyebade (Mo Bimpe), revealing that he once vowed never to marry someone in the entertainment industry.
Speaking during an interview with Morayo Brown, the actor said fate had other plans for him.
"I promised never to marry someone from my industry but God had better plans."
Lateef also addressed the religious differences in their marriage, explaining that he is a Muslim while his wife is a Christian, but insisted that religion was never a barrier to their relationship.
"I am a Muslim, she's a Christian. It didn't matter to me because the most important thing before religion is my peace."
According to him, his wife initially had concerns about their relationship, but he was determined to make things work.
"She had her concerns but I told her to let me meet her father, and the rest is history."
The actor also cleared the air about the children frequently seen on their social media pages, dismissing speculation that they had already revealed the faces of their alleged triplets.
"Also, those children you are seeing with us on social media are not the faces of our triplets because it's AI. When we are ready, we will reveal their faces."
