Popular Nigerian music video director TG Omori has shared how an encounter with Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy became a turning point in his life and career.
However, he and his team arrived late and were unable to perform.
According to him, the atmosphere changed completely the moment Burna Boy stepped into the venue.
“I went to a show in Abuja where Burna Boy was headlining, but we arrived late so couldn’t perform. When he came in, the crowd forgot there was an artiste performing.”
The celebrated video director said witnessing Burna Boy's overwhelming influence inspired him to aim higher and work harder.
“The next day, I told myself that was my last day as an ordinary person.”
