Nigerian rapper Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, popularly known as Vector Tha Viper, has revealed that he met his wife, Yinka Coker, at a nightclub, challenging the popular belief that lasting relationships cannot begin in such places.
“I met my woman in the club. You will not believe she is super homely. Who would have thought? What was the first attraction? She was rapping Heavy D,” Vector said.
He explained that his experience taught him not to rely entirely on societal opinions when choosing a life partner.
“So, you can’t take advice when it comes to a life partner. The typical advice that I heard before then was that there were no good women in the club.
“I am not saying you shouldn’t take any advice. You can have a few people who give you good counsel, then on your own, you can decide what works for you,” he added.
Vector and Yinka Coker got married in a civil ceremony in December 2022 and are blessed with a daughter.
