Suspected baby thief nabbed by vigilantes in Delta

A young woman suspected of stealing a baby has been apprehended by members of the Anti-Cult Volunteer Corps in Delta State.

According to reports, the suspect was arrested during an operation by the security outfit and questioned over the alleged child theft.

During the interrogation, she reportedly admitted to the act, saying, "This is my first time stealing a baby."

The suspect has since been handed over to the Ebrumede Police Division for further investigation.

Authorities are yet to release further details about the circumstances surrounding the alleged child theft, while investigations into the incident are ongoing.
