Speaking in an interview, the comedian said he caught the pair together after returning unexpectedly from a construction site.
According to Mazi Okeke, he owns Justin Group, a company involved in construction, interior fittings and cleaning services, and his demanding work schedule often required him to travel across different states and even abroad.
Recalling the incident, he said:
"I came back from site that day. I caught my fiancée cheating on me with my driver."
He said what hurt him the most was the reason his fiancée gave when he confronted her.
"I asked, 'Why?' She said, 'You're too busy.'"
According to him, she complained that he was always travelling from one state to another and rarely had time for her.
"She said, 'You're always traveling, from this state to another state. You're in the East today, you're in the West tomorrow. You don't give me attention.'"
Mazi Okeke revealed that his fiancée compared him to her ex-boyfriend, saying the former partner was always around while he was constantly away pursuing his business goals.
He added that she told him she felt neglected because he spent most of his time working to expand his company.
The comedian said he believes the affair began during a one-month business trip to China, where he travelled to source materials and equipment to manufacture doors, shower fittings and other construction products for his company.
"This actually started when I went to China. I spent one month there to buy materials because I wanted to produce my own doors, my own shower and my own fittings to grow my company."
He also expressed disappointment over what he described as her lack of remorse after the affair was exposed.
"What is baffling me is that there's no remorse from this person."
