The controversy followed a post by an X user, Olori Ajoke, who criticised Peller’s mother for allegedly asking her son to give money to her prospective husband during the wedding ceremony.
According to the X user, Peller had already given money to his mother and his in-laws but later returned to a box to collect additional cash for his father. She alleged that while he was doing so, Peller’s mother was heard telling him, “Fun Oji na, fun Oji na,” which she interpreted as asking him to give money to Oji, identified as the woman’s new husband-to-be.
The post sparked reactions, with the X user expressing concern that Peller’s mother should exercise restraint when it comes to her son’s money.
She wrote that the incident did not “sit right” with her and prayed for God to protect Peller and give him wisdom and understanding.
Daddy Freeze subsequently joined the conversation, reacting to the criticism of Peller’s mother and the allegations surrounding the money given during the wedding.
