The music star made the revelation while speaking about her past relationships, explaining that although she has been cheated on before, she chose to forgive her partner rather than end the relationship.
According to Tiwa, the situation took an unexpected turn when the man she forgave eventually left her.
“A guy once cheated on me. I forgave him, but he still left me,” she said.
The singer added that she has never cheated on a partner and has also never ended a relationship solely because of infidelity.
“I’ve never cheated on a guy, and I’ve never left a guy because he cheated,” Tiwa said.
She explained that while she has ended relationships in the past, cheating was never the reason behind her decision.
Tiwa noted that she had left partners for other reasons, stressing that infidelity was simply not something she considered enough to immediately walk away from a relationship.
“I don’t see cheating as a reason to break up,” she added.
